For your session, the most important thing is to feel like yourself. Choose outfits that are comfortable and make you feel good, because that confidence always shines through. Soft, neutral, or earthy colors photograph beautifully and keep the attention on your connections, while avoiding busy patterns or big logos helps your photos feel timeless. Aim for outfits that coordinate rather than match perfectly, and don’t be afraid to add layers, cozy textures, or something with a little movement. Most of all, wear shoes you can move in—you’ll be walking, snuggling, and just enjoying the moment together.
What should be worn for a session?
Yes—often and happily. Whether it’s Knoxville, Chattanooga, Providence, or New London, I’ll be there! Currently based in Nashville (and relocating to New London, CT in summer 2026), I happily travel for sessions. A mileage fee applies for locations more than 50 miles outside my home base.
Do you travel?
I typically book 3–6 months in advance for portraits, and 8–12 months for weddings. However, I always welcome last-minute magic when possible.
